INTERNAL RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE LAZDYNAI MULTIFUNCTIONAL HEALTH PROMOTION CENTRE
I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. In the Lazdynai multifunctional health promotion centre (hereinafter - the Swimming Pool) located at Erfurto str. 13, 04220 Vilnius, visitors can use a 50-meter swimming pool, 25-meter swimming pool, saunas, massage baths, showers, toilets, changing rooms. Also, to exercise in the gym and attend group sessions.
2. The manager of the Swimming Pool (hereinafter - the Manager) is Public Establishment Active Vilnius (legal entity code 302682862, registration address Vėtrungių str. 45A, Vilnius LT-06305, data about the company is collected and stored in the Register of Legal Entities, the Data Processor of the company is the Vilnius branch of the State Enterprise Centre of Registers).
3. Visitor means any person who, under the procedure established by the Manager, has purchased a ticket, a season ticket, a gift voucher, has received a permit or has entered the swimming pool in other lawful ways established by the Manager through the entrance gates.
4. The Internal Rules of Procedure (hereinafter - the Rules) shall lay down the procedure for the service (provision of services) of the visitors of the Swimming Pool, mandatory security, hygiene and other requirements for visitors, the rights and duties of the Swimming Pool Manager and visitors as well as the limits of their liability, the terms and conditions and procedure for the purchase, change and return of tickets and season tickets as well as the terms and conditions for the provision of additional services.
5. The Rules are publicly available on the website of the Swimming Pool www.lazdynubaseinas.eu and are binding on all visitors of the Swimming Pool, regardless of their age. Before concluding an Agreement on the Swimming Pool Services (i.e. before purchasing a ticket or season ticket), a person must familiarise himself/herself with these Rules and observe them when using the Swimming Pool services.
6. The visitor of the Swimming Pool shall be fully responsible for his/her health condition and access to the services provided by the Swimming Pool. The Manager and his staff shall not be liable for any health problems, injuries and accidents of the visitor during a visit to the Swimming Pool, which have occurred not due to the fault of the Swimming Pool Manager.
7. Persons of any age shall have the right to use the services provided by the Swimming Pool, except for the exceptions provided for in these Rules.
8. The following persons are prohibited from visiting the swimming Pool:
- Suffering from COVID-19 or any other viral/infectious disease, suspected of having COVID-19 or any other viral/infectious disease and who have been in contact with a person suffering from COVID-19 disease (Corona virus infection);
- With open wounds;
- Have other ailments that pose or may pose a threat to the health or safety of the visitor or other visitors;
- Without an electronic ticket (chip bracelet);
- Under the influence of alcohol, narcotic or psychotropic substances;
- Whose behaviour endangers the Swimming Pool, its safety and hygiene status or is contrary to the rules of good conduct accepted by society.
9. Children under 18 years of age can only visit the Swimming Pool accompanied by adult persons who are responsible for their safety. An adult person must be over 18 years of age and take full responsibility for the safety, health condition, behaviour, compliance with these Rules, storage of children’s belongings, and safe locking of lockers. One adult may accompany four children maximum.
10. Persons with disabilities who, because of their health condition, require the care of another person, may only visit the Swimming Pool accompanied by an adult person or a personal assistant. One adult may accompany one disabled person maximum.
11. In the course of technical prophylaxis, the Swimming Pool may be temporarily closed after prior notice has been given on the Swimming Pool website www.lazdynubaseinas.eu, reception and/or social networks. The use of the Swimming Pool services may also be restricted or suspended during pre-announced competitions. Visitors shall be informed about the planned competitions on the website www.lazdynubaseinas.eu, reception and/or social networks. These periods shall not be compensated.
12. Visitors must leave the gym, group session hall, sauna space and swimming pool space 15 minutes before the end of the working hours of Lazdynai Swimming Pool or immediately after the personnel’s instruction. Visitors must leave through the gates (turnstile) before the end of the working hours of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool.
13. In case of questions or uncertainties, visitors shall have the right to contact the personnel of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool.
II. TICKET ACQUISITION PROCEDURE, RATES
14. Ticket prices are published at the Swimming Pool box office and on the website www.lazdynubaseinas.eu; tickets are sold at the Swimming Pool box office and on the website www.lazdynubaseinas.eu
15. The quantity of tickets under sale and the number of chip bracelets to be issued shall correspond to the actual number of persons entering through the entrance gates.
16. Tickets may be temporarily not under sale due to technical problems or when all item storage lockers are occupied.
17. For a person who has purchased a ticket, season ticket and decides not to use Lazdynai Swimming Pool services, the money for the ticket, season ticket shall not be refunded or exchanged for another type of ticket.
18. A person who has lost a season ticket may, at his/her request, can be issued a duplicate of the subscription for EUR 3. The Swimming Pool season ticket may be used only by the person on whose behalf the season ticket has been assigned. Sharing the season ticket with other persons is prohibited.
19. It is allowed to rewrite the membership to another person upon arrival at the Swimming Pool together and upon payment of the membership rewrite fee of EUR 10. (Except for group training contracts).
19. For violations of the Internal Rules, the Lazdynai Swimming Pool administration shall have the right to cancel the validity of the season ticket.
20. For children under 6 years of age, entrance to the Swimming Pool accompanied by an adult is free of charge. Children from 6 to 18 years of age are subject to the rates set at the swimming pool.
21. Minors wishing to purchase a one-time visit ticket in the water and bath area must come together with an accompanying adult (who has turned 18) who is responsible for the minor client during his/her stay at the Lazdynai Swimming Pool. The accompanying person must purchase a one-time visit ticket and must be in the water and bath area together.
22. Persons wishing to purchase a ticket or a discounted season ticket must submit a document confirming the right to receive a discount (flyer, card, certificate, etc.).
23. The services of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool and sports club are provided only by trainers working in the institution. A client who has purchased a one-time visit ticket or has a membership is not allowed to provide any services to third parties (health promotion, training, physical training, rehabilitation or other services of a commercial nature, consult, train clients). If the client provides services to other persons, the Lazdynai Swimming Pool shall have the right to unilaterally terminate the contract and prohibit the client from using the services provided.
24. If a visitor who has already left the Lazdynai Swimming Pool wishes to re-enter the territory of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool, he/she must purchase a new ticket.
25. In case of doubt about the age of the visitor, the registrar– cashier shall have the right to request the visitor to submit a personal identity document. In this case, a copy of the document shall not be made.
III. CHIP WRISTBAND, ITS PURPOSE AND USE
26. When selling a one-time ticket or having a season ticket, (an additional fee for a chip card/wristband shall be charged in the season ticket), a At the reception of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool, a chip wristband is issued, which shall be assigned to each visitor individually.
27. The chip wristband must be activated within the first 15 minutes of entering through the entrance gates. If the chip wristband is not activated within 15 minutes, it is automatically blocked and the money is not returned to the visitor.
28. Persons who have received chip wristbands must enter through the entrance gates one by one, by touching the wristband to the reader located on the gate. The time spent in the Lazdynai Swimming Pool starts from the moment the person enters through the entrance gates and is stopped when the visitor leaves through the exit gates attaching the wristband.
29. The visitor must preserve the chip wristband and keys from the changing lockers. If a Visitor loses a chip wristband or has damaged its electronic part, he/she must approach the box offices and apply to the staff to block the chip wristband. For lost key and/or chip wristband, the Visitor shall pay a one-time approved fee to the box office.
30. Having left earlier, i.e. in case of not staying the entire allotted time limit, the money for the remaining time will not be returned to the Visitor.
31. For exceeding the limit of stay in the Lazdynai Swimming Pool (the time not paid for when purchasing a ticket) or for leaving after the official working hours of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool, the settlement shall be as follows:
32.1. If the visitor exceeds the time limit a fee shall be calculated for additional time spent;
32.2. The fee shall be calculated based on the rates in force at that time and shall be paid at the box office.
33. If the visitor is unable to pay for additional time spent or services rendered, the money shall be recovered from him/her under the procedure laid down by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
34. Visitors who have caused damage to the Lazdynai Swimming Pool shall be held liable as per the procedure laid down by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. The parents (guardians) or accompanying persons shall be responsible for the damage caused by minors.
IV. OTHER GENERAL INFORMATION
35. The Swimming Pool is open on weekdays from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm; on weekends and public holidays from 8:00 am to 9.00 pm.
36. In the area of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool, persons are monitored by video cameras for their safety.
37. Smoking is strictly prohibited for visitors in the Lazdynai Swimming Pool area.
38. Visitors are admitted to the Lazdynai Swimming Pool with season tickets on the specified days and hours. Entry once a day, and stay in the Swimming Pool is unlimited, except for children/adult swimming lessons. If a person has forgotten or for any other reason has not submitted a season ticket, he/she may be admitted to the Swimming Pool by name and surname on presentation of a personal identity card.
39. The Lazdynai Swimming Pool shall not be responsible for the personal belongings of visitors left in the Lazdynai Swimming Pool premises and in unlocked storage lockers. Visitors are recommended not to bring expensive and valuable items to the Swimming Pool and leave them in storage.
40. Items left by visitors and later found by other visitors or found by the personnel of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool handed over to the manager shall be stored at the administration for thirty calendar days.
41. Having locked the storage locker, visitors must thoroughly check that the storage locker is securely locked.
42. Each visitor shall have the right to use at least one storage locker. When attempting to use more than one storage locker, such visitor actions shall be considered as breaking into someone else’s locker.
43. Visitors must immediately leave the Lazdynai Swimming Pool if there is a danger and this is required by the personnel.
44. Visitors who experience any health problems at the Lazdynai Swimming Pool must contact a swimming trainer, swimming pool supervisor or other personnel.
45. Visitors (children under 18) who plan to start to go to the swimming pool and learn to swim are recommended to undergo a medical examination.
46. Visitors from the age of 70 are recommended to undergo a medical examination.
V. RULES OF SWIMMING POOL AND BATH SPACE
47. The depth of the 25 m swimming pool is 2 meters, and the depth of the 50 m swimming pool is 3 meters, so only visitors who can swim shall be allowed. The depth of the 23 m swimming pool is 2 meters, so children under 18 years of age are admitted to this swimming pool only with adults or trainers who are responsible for their safety.
47.1 In the 25m Swimming Pool, springboards and towers can only be used by athletes under the supervision of a trainer, visitors to the Swimming Pool must not use springboards and towers.
48. Visitors to the swimming pool must wear slippers suitable for wet environments.
49. Visitors to the swimming pool must wear a swimming hat (longer hair must be tied with a hair band and hidden under the hat).
50. Swimwear (maximum up to knee length) is mandatory in the Swimming Pool.
51. Before entering and leaving the swimming pool area, visitors must take a shower.
52. When swimming on the lanes it is necessary to stick to the right side.
53. A maximum of 24 people can swim in the 50 m Swimming Pool lane at the same time, and a maximum of 12 people can swim in the 25 m and 23 m Swimming Pool lane at the same time.
54. To get out of the swimming pool, a visitor must use a ladder.
55. Each visitor must have a towel or bathrobe. (Expected date for the opening date of the baths is 2025)
56. Before entering the baths and after using them, it is necessary to take a shower.
57. Dry baths can only be accessed by having a towel or bathrobe, which must be spread on wooden beds under the entire body in the bath.
58. Slippers must be left at the entrance to the dry bath.
59. A visitor who comes to the swimming pool with a minor child (under 18 years of age) must take care of him/her, do not leave him/her alone and is responsible for his/her safety.
60. It is recommended to stay in baths not exceeding 7 minutes and three times maximum, taking 10-minute breaks. It is forbidden to make noise in the baths.
61. Warning signs that must be observed are displayed in certain places that require more attention.
VI. RULES FOR TRAINING HALLS AND GROUP SESSIONS
62. Before starting to use the equipment of a gym or group session hall, the Visitor must make sure that his/her health condition allows him/her to attend the gym or group session hall and use the specific services and equipment provided therein.
63. Neat sportswear and clean sports footwear must be worn in the gym and group session hall. You must not do sports wearing outdoor footwear, slippers, sandals and football sneakers, and without wearing any footwear (unless the gym trainer indicates otherwise). Visitors in breach of this clause may be denied access or requested to leave the premises.
64. Before using the equipment and inventory of the gym, you must familiarise yourself with the instructions for use displayed in the gym or indicated on the equipment or inventory, and in case of any uncertainty, contact the employees of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool personnel for the provision of the necessary information.
65. In case of uncertainty in the group session hall, it is necessary to contact the personnel of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool.
66. When using the equipment, it is necessary to spread a towel on the fitness equipment and mats.
67. In the gym, when lifting large weights, it is necessary to invite a second person to help.
68. After completion of the exercises, it is necessary to arrange the place of the training (accessories of fitness equipment, other equipment of the gym, weights should be placed in the places designated for them).
69. The equipment and other inventory of the gym and group sessions may be used only for their direct purpose. If you do not know how to use the fitness equipment and other inventory of the gym correctly and safely it is necessary to consult the employees of the Lazdynai swimming pool and sports club personnel.
70. You must not use temporarily defective fitness equipment, and the employees of the Lazdynai swimming pool and sports club personnel must be immediately informed about the observed failure.
71. You must not interfere with the use of fitness equipment and other inventory by other visitors of the gym or group sessions, and during breaks between exercises, the fitness equipment cannot be occupied, your personal belongings must not be left on them.
72. Before choosing a load in a gym or group session hall, you must verify that it corresponds to your personal capacity. Your health and safety are in your own hands. In case of deterioration of health or injury in the gym or group session hall, and the employees of the Lazdynai swimming pool and sports club personnel must be immediately informed. All liability for the visitor’s health problems, injuries and accidents occurring when attending the gym or group session hall shall lie with the Visitor. The Lazdynai Swimming Pool shall not compensate the visitor for both material and non-material damage caused to the health and life of the visitor due to the services provided by it, except if this damage was caused by the fault of the service provider.
73. The minors must not enter and exercise in the gym and group session hall, except when minors from 16 to 18 years of age exercise in the gym under the supervision of the hall trainer or parents (guardians).
74. The minors between 16 and 18 years of age may exercise in the gym only under the supervision of the trainer of the hall or parents (guardians).
Pupils of the Vilnius City Sports Centre at their allotted time (schedule) coordinated with the Administration of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool, and under the procedure of training approved by the Vilnius City Sports Centre.
75. Only the aforementioned athletes can visit the hall, which is intended for diving athletes; the visitors to the Swimming Pool must not visit this hall.
VII. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF VISITORS
76. The Visitor shall have the right to:
77.1. Use the services provided by the Swimming Pool;
77.2. Require the Manager to compensate for the damage suffered by the visitor due to the fault of the Manager as per the procedure laid down in these Rules and legal acts.
78. The Visitor shall undertake to:
79.1. Make sure that his/her state of health allows him/her to use them before starting to use the services provided by the Lazdynai Swimming Pool. The negative consequences of non-fulfilment of this requirement shall be borne by the visitor himself/herself;
79.2. While in the Lazdynai Swimming Pool and using the services provided therein, strictly observe the requirements outlined in these Rules;
79.3. While in the Lazdynai Swimming Pool, use a chip wristband assigned only for him/her;
79.4. Fulfil the instructions of personnel regarding safety requirements and compliance with these Rules;
79.5. Do not interfere with the use of swimming pool and bath services by other visitors;
79.6. Use fitness equipment in the gym, group session halls and/or swimming pool and baths as required by these Rules.
VIII. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE MANAGER
80. The Manager shall have the right to:
81.1. Deny entry to the Lazdynai Swimming Pool of persons whose behaviour may disturb order, endanger the safety of other visitors, the hygiene condition of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool and/or would be contrary to the norms of conduct adopted by society;
81.2. Deny entry to the Lazdynai Swimming Pool of persons if they do not agree to comply with these Rules or do not understand these Rules;
81.4. Remove visitors from the Lazdynai Swimming Pool who violate the Rules, ignore warning signs, and requirements specified in signboards, and do not fulfil the instructions of personnel. In this case, the money is not refunded to the visitors;
81.5. Unilaterally amend the Rules by making them public;
81.6. Deny entry of persons without further explanation if this poses a threat to the safety of other visitors.
IX. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR VISITORS
82. The administration of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool recommends that visitors who plan to entertain themselves assess their physical capabilities and health condition (e.g. chronic illnesses, injuries, pregnancy, etc.).
83. Visitors are not recommended to bring expensive and/or valuable items/ jewellery, watches, mobile phones, etc. to the Lazdynai Swimming Pool, which may be damaged by moisture or lost. You must not have and use mobile phones in the swimming pool water and baths area.
84. Visitors are not recommended to use the services provided by the Lazdynai Swimming Pool when wearing any type of jewellery or other jewellery items that may cause damage to the visitors themselves and/or to the Lazdynai Swimming Pool inventory.
X. GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT
85. In certain places that require more attention, warning signs that must be observed are displayed (do not film, take pictures, use mobile phones, etc.).
86. You must not drink and eat in the swimming pool, baths or gym areas. Refreshment with drinking water is allowed in designated places.
87. During children’s sessions (formal, non-formal or education supplementing formal education), children’s parents are not allowed to enter the swimming pool area (only accompanying teachers can enter it).
88. It is desirable not to spend more than 15 minutes in the shower.
89. Visitors must observe all the requirements of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool personnel ensuring order and safety in the water, bath, gym and other premises.
XI. PROHIBITIONS
90. In the Lazdynai Swimming Pool, do not:
90.1. Bring glass containers, breakable, sharp objects with you;
90.2. Bring food and alcoholic beverages with you;
90.3. Visit with animals;
90.4. Skate down stair railings, climb steel structures or otherwise damage the inventory in the Lazdynai Swimming Pool;
90.5. Make loud noise, shout, whistle, falsely call for help, run around (the visitor can slip and get injured), push, splash with water;
90.6. Spit on the floor and into the water, perform natural needs outside the toilets;
90.7. Leave children under 18 years of age unattended;
90.8. Wear outdoor footwear, except for the space before the changing room;
90.9. For a visitor to use a chip wristband not assigned to him/her;
90.10. Jump into the water from the edges of the swimming pools to dive;
90.11. Children under 3 years of age to swim in swimming pools without special diaper;
90.12. Bring your infusions, extracts and shingles to the baths and use them;
90.13. Pour water or essential oils on stones yourself in baths;
90.14. Adjust the devices in the baths premises;
90.15. Film and photograph other clients without their consent, publish images without their permission, use a mobile phone in the Swimming Pool area;
90.16. Pour beverages into the swimming pool;
90.17. Squeeze out wet clothes in changing rooms (swimsuits, swim trunks, towels and other items);
90.18. Possess, consume and be under the influence of alcohol, narcotic and psychotropic substances, smoke.
XII. LIABILITY
91. A visitor who has caused damage to the Lazdynai Swimming Pool, property contained therein, property and/or health of visitors shall be liable under the procedure laid down by laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Parents or guardians shall be liable for damage caused by minors, persons with disabilities.
92. If the administration or employees of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool suspect that a visitor has committed a criminal act, the police shall be called immediately.
93. Parents of minors under the age of 18 years, their guardians or other adult persons accompanying them shall be responsible for familiarising the minors who have arrived together, persons with disabilities with the Rules and for compliance with these Rules.
94. Compensation for material damage for lost or damaged inventory shall be determined based on the rates approved at that time.
95. A visitor who has suffered material and/or non-material damage at the Lazdynai Swimming Pool must immediately inform the administration or employee of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool thereof, indicating the place, time, circumstances and persons who saw the event. If the Visitor does not stick to this condition, complaints and claims for damage to health and/or property laid later shall not be examined.
96. The Manager shall not examine the visitor’s claims and shall not be liable for the material and/or non-material damage suffered by the visitor at the Lazdynai Swimming Pool if the visitor has not complied with the requirements and/or recommendations stipulated in these Rules.
97. The Manager shall not be liable for the personal belongings of the visitors or the loss and/or partial damage thereof, including the swimsuits of visitors that have been damaged while using the swimming pool or due to chlorinated water.
98. The Lazdynai Swimming Pool shall not be liable for the consequences or damage caused to third parties for the health and property of visitors, shall not accept and examine claims if the negligence of the visitors themselves causes such consequences, non-compliance with the information provided in these Rules, warning signs and inscriptions and failure to fulfil the legitimate instructions of the personnel of the Lazdynai Swimming Pool.
99. Disputes concerning improper execution or non-execution of the contract shall be heard out of court as per the procedure laid down by the Law on Consumer Protection of the Republic of Lithuania at the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority, at Vilniaus str. 25, 01402 Vilnius, e-mail tarnyba@vvtat.lt, tel.
